HeartCode Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Hands-On Skills Part 2 Skills Practice and Testing with an American Heart Association Instructor-Led Classroom Video-Based Course with CPR Heart of Angels, LLC.

HeartCode PALS Blended Learning: The HeartCode PALS Blended Learning is combined with self-directed online training with American Heart Association Instructor-Led Classroom Hands-On Practice and Testing Session with CPR Heart of Angels, LLC. HeartCode PALS will allow students to select the In-Facility or Prehospital track before starting the modules. HeartCode PALS Blended Learning Online Course covers the cognitive portion, dramatizations, modules, and eSimulations of the course for Part 1. This convenient internet-based program will allow the student to train at their own pace, anytime, anywhere with internet access. After completing the Blended Learning component, the student will attend a structured Instructor-Led HeartCode PALS Hands-On Skills Session with an American Heart Association Instructor at CPR Heart of Angels, LLC. This course focuses on 2020 Guidelines for skills practice, debriefing, team scenarios, learning real-world scenarios, and skills testing.

HeartCode PALS is designed for providers who are experienced in the skills of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). HeartCode PALS is for healthcare professionals seeking an alternative method for completing an initial or renewal Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course. This course is designed for students that are proficient in their CPR skills and are seeking an alternative from sitting through the entire length of an initial or renewal class.

Students are eligible for continuing education credit for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, and emergency medical service providers with the American Heart Association.

Please note: if you are a more experienced pediatric healthcare provider seeking advanced educational content, you may instead purchase PALS PLUS, this course includes HeartCode PALS Online plus 9 additional advanced modules related to pediatric emergencies (Adanced Airway Management, Child Abuse, Congenital Heart Disease, Post-Cardiac Arrest Care, Sedation and Analgesia, Technologically Dependent Child, Toxicology, Trauma-Overview and Approach, and Ultrasound). The student must select and complete at least 6 of the 9 PALS PLUS Advanced Modules and student must complete HeartCode PALS Part 2 Hands-On Skills Session in person with CPR Heart of Angels, LLC. Upon successful completion of PALS PLUS, the student will receive a PALS Provider eCard with the special  designation of "PALS PLUS" for completing the advanced modules and meet all course completion requirements for PALS Provider eCard valid for 2 years.

HeartCode PALS Hands-On Skills Practice and Testing Session Part 2 with CPR Heart of Angels, LLC. 2020 Guidelines.

Please bring a printed copy of your HeartCode PALS Online Part 1 Course Completion Certificate to class with you. Instructor will verify your HeartCode PALS Online Part 1 with American Heart Association before starting the skills session. If no printed certificate is available, class will be rescheduled for a later date and time. 

Course Length: 1 – 2 Hours
HeartCode PALS Hands-On Skills Practice and Testing Part 2 with CPR Heart of Angels, LLC 

Upon successful completion of the HeartCode PALS  Online Part 1 and Part 2 Hands-On Skills Practice and Testing Session with the American Heart Association 2020 Guidelines, the student will receive an American Heart Association Pediatric Cardiovascular Life Support (PALS) Provider Course Completion eCard that is valid for 2 years.

Important Notes:

• Additionally, you may add Heartcode BLS Online Part 1 if needed. If selected, please purchase Heartcode BLS Online Part 1  (20-3553) directly with AHA at shopcpr.heart.org (eBook included) with American Heart Association. If selected, the Heartcode BLS Part 2 Hands-On Skills Session with CPR Heart of Angels, LLC will be scheduled on the same day as the HeartCode PALS Part 2 Hands-On Skills Session. Please bring a printed copy HeartCode BLS Online Part 1 Course Completion Certificate to class with you. Please add 1 hour for the HeartCode BLS Hands-On Skills Session.
