Description of Course:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider (Renewal) Classroom Video-Based Instructor-Led Training Course by American Heart Association teaches both single-rescuer and team Basic Life Support Skills for In-Facility and Prehospital Settings. This course covers 2020 Guidelines Course Content, Skills Practice and Testing. Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider course is designed for healthcare providers and trained first responders who provide care to patients in a wide variety of settings or by those in a healthcare training program.

We provide CPR Training Services for: 
Physicians, nurses, nursing students, medical students, dental students, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, physician assistants, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, nursing aides, medical assistants, dental assistants, First Responders such as police officers and firefighters, and anyone that provides care to patients in a wide variety of settings or by those in a healthcare training program.

• Adult and Pediatric Chain of Survival
• High-Quality CPR for Adult, Child, and Infant
• 1 and 2 Rescuer Adult CPR Techniques
• 1 and 2 Rescuer Child CPR Techniques
• 1 and 2 Rescuer Infant CPR Techniques
• Maternal Cardiac Arrest
• Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use for Adult, Child, Infant and Pregnancy
• Rescue Breathing using Bag Valve Mask (BVM) Ventilations for Adult, Child, Infant, and Pregnancy
• Advanced Airway Ventilation for Adult, Child, and Infant
• Effective Ventilations with a Barrier Device
• CPR Coach
• Team Dynamics and High-Performance Teams
• Opioid-Associated Life Threatening Emergency
• Choking relief for Adult, Child, and Infant (Responsive and Unresponsive)
• Special Considerations

Course Length: 2-3 Hours Classroom Video-based Instructor-Led Course

Students MUST pass a Written Exam (84%) and Skills Testing in order to qualify for a Basic Life Support Provider Course Completion eCard by the American Heart Association. New 2020 Guidelines by American Heart Association, students may use the Basic Life Support Provider Student Manual while taking the Written Examination. 

Upon successful completion of the course with the American Heart Association 2020 Guidelines, the student will receive an American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Provider Course Completion eCard that is valid for 2 years.

BLS Renewal: Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Course Completion Card/eCard MUST be current and valid NOT expired. Please bring original Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Course Card/eCard by American Heart Association. If your Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Course Card/eCard is expired or by another institution other than American Heart Association, you will need to take the Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider (Initial) Instructor-Led Course.

Book:
American Heart Association requires all students to have a Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Student Manual or eBook to study before, during, and after class. Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Student Manual or eBook is required for class. Each Student MUST have own copy of Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Student Manual or eBook for class. No sharing of Student Manual or eBook is allowed.

If selected, the Heartsaver First Aid Hands-On Skills Session with CPR Heart of Angels, LLC will be scheduled on the same day after your BLS Provider (Renewal) course.
• No CEU Credits are provided with the BLS Provider Instructor-Led Classrom Course.
