Description of Course:

The Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens course teaches students how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction.

We provide CPR Training Services for:
The AHA Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Course is designed for anyone with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens such as: Correctional Officers, Childcare workers, Security guards, Maintenance workers, School personnel, Hotel housekeepers, Health and fitness club staff, and Tattoo artists.

Course Content:

• Protect themselves from blood or blood-containing materials.
• Act quickly and safely.
• Clean the area that has blood or blood-containing materials.
• Tell their supervisor about the incident.

Course Length: 1 Hour

Upon successful completion of the course with the American Heart Association 2015 Guidelines, the student will receive a perforated participation card on the back cover of the book.

Book:
American Heart Association requires all students to have a Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Student Manual or eBook to study before, during, and after class. Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Student Manual or eBook is required for class. Each student MUST have own copy of Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Student Manual or eBook for class. No sharing of Student Manual or eBook is allowed. You can purchase and pay American Heart Association directly for your Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Student Manual.
